All about Penang Food...

As Penang foodies, the 6 of us (Vincent, Wee Vern, Adrian, Hsuiyong, Bean and I) drove from one "kopitiam" to another "kopitiam" last week (only 3 lah, actually, hehe..) These are the recommended food for the discerning palate!

-Sun City Cafe, Prima Tanjung, Tg tokong - opposite Island Plaza

AIS KACANG The one I went was somewhere near Komtar, more famous for Chendul but Swatow Lane coffeeshop and Hillside Food Court (Tony ais kacang)- opposite 7-Eleven , Tg Bungah would be a better choice

-Hai Aun Coffeeshop, Burmah Road (nearby old Rex cinema/opp Transfer Rd/Burmah Rd junction)
Also recommended:
-Air Itam roadside stall (opposite old Lai Lai Supermarket;current Darling Dim Sum, on the way to Pg Hill lower station)*that is on the way to my house!*
-Restaurant Lin, Jalan Ceri, Chain Ferry Terminal, Butterworth

St Petersburg-the sunshine city

St. Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is often referred to as the Venice of the North or Paris of the East, but its beauty is really a unique brand of its own. I am so glad that I actually got a foot in the door to St Petersburg! The 9 hours' trip was really worth it all! We checked in to Zimmer's Students' Hostel and started our sightseeing shortly after that. Here are the few shots taken.

Peterhof-nestled on the shore of the Gulf of Finland
(part of the Baltic Sea) It is divided into The Grand Palace and The Grand Cascade

The park's unique fountain system was designed in the 18th century and
doesn't require the use of any pumps to operate the fountains.
There are three major cascades and over 120 fountains in the park
