All about Penang Food...
As Penang foodies, the 6 of us (Vincent, Wee Vern, Adrian, Hsuiyong, Bean and I) drove from one "kopitiam" to another "kopitiam" last week (only 3 lah, actually, hehe..) These are the recommended food for the discerning palate!
LOR BAK
-Kheng Pin Coffeeshop (Sri Bahari Rd/ Pg Road junction) until around 2.30p.m
Also recommended:
-Polyland Cafe, Burmah Road, Pulau Tikus - opposite Belisa Row
-Sun City Cafe, Prima Tanjung, Tg tokong - opposite Island Plaza
AIS KACANG The one I went was somewhere near Komtar, more famous for Chendul but Swatow Lane coffeeshop and Hillside Food Court (Tony ais kacang)- opposite 7-Eleven , Tg Bungah would be a better choice
Koay Teow Th'ng
-Hai Aun Coffeeshop, Burmah Road (nearby old Rex cinema/opp Transfer Rd/Burmah Rd junction)
Also recommended:
-Air Itam roadside stall (opposite old Lai Lai Supermarket;current Darling Dim Sum, on the way to Pg Hill lower station)*that is on the way to my house!*
-Restaurant Lin, Jalan Ceri, Chain Ferry Terminal, Butterworth
Note: These places are recommended by Wee Vern and those photos are taken by him too
